The Arrive Austin is the perfect place for a stayaway in East Austin. Getaway + staycation = stayaway. Can we trademark that?
You really don’t even have to leave the hotel for everything that you need as there is a restaurant, patio bar, rooftop bar, and coffee shop all on site. You can even dine in room at the cutest retro booth set up (our personal favorite thing about the room).
But if you do want to venture out, you’re right in the heart of the east side so there are many options for good beer, good food, and good fun.
Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect at Arrive Austin Hotel.
Upon check in you’ll notice the hotel’s unique style that aligns perfectly with East Austin. As if that isn’t enough, a staff member will hand you your choice of cold drink – each of which are home grown Austin based products.
Rooms are modern yet comfortable with all of the perks you need like an Apple TV, a Marshall Bluetooth equipped radio, Daewoo fridge stocked with Richard’s Rainwater, and a marble bathroom featuring Niven Morgan’s bath products.
Lefty’s Brick Bar offers abundant libations and delicious small bites in a casual setting. The charming courtyard space is ideal for a warm sunny day – and luck for you, we get a lot of those in Austin. We recommend cooling off with an Aperol Spritz or Mezcallion Stallion. If it does happen to be one of those (very) rare chilly Austin days, try a Hot Toddy or Francofile.
The rooftop Gin Bar serves 90+ varieties of gin from Austin to New Zealand and was named one the best hotel bars in Austin by Tribeza.
If you happen to imbibe a little too much, there’s always coffee! Cartel Coffee Lab brings a decade of experience sourcing and roasting some of the world’s most exciting coffees. Rather than a blinding selection of sugar-laced syrups, Cartel’s philosophy is to allow great coffees to speak for themselves.
Vixen’s Wedding serves intensely flavorful eats inspired by Goa, India, Portugal, and the great Lone Star Texas.
Named one of Austin Magazine’s 2019 Best New Restaurants, the restaurant offers a prix fixe menu which you can review right here.
Staying for more than one night and want to experience more that the east side has to offer? You’re in luck because Arrive sits right in the middle of all the east side action. The rustic chic watering hole Whisler’s is right across the street. Zilker Brewing Company is just a hop, skip, and a jump down the block. Keep walking and you’ll find Il Brutto, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, and so much more!
