Kristin Cavallari has brought her jewelry and lifestyle brand Uncommon James to Austin. The new South Congress storefront is officially open in Music Lane.

The boutique joins the growing lineup of fashion, beauty, dining and lifestyle businesses along one of Austin’s most rapidly changing streets.

What You Can Expect at Uncommon James

Uncommon James is best known for its everyday jewelry but the brand has expanded well beyond jewelry. The location carries the Uncommon James lifestyle aesthetic as well, including skincare, fragrance, candles, lifestyle items and a men’s line.

There are some Austin-friendly pieces to be found in. store. There’s a cowboy boot pendant necklace, a football charm and hats branded specially for the ATX shop.

From The Hills to South Congress

For anyone who grew up watching Laguna Beach and The Hills, Cavallari is a familiar face. And the South Congress location makes perfect sense as Uncommon James has locations on some of the trendiest cities in America, including Nashville, Charleston, Chicago and Dallas.

Austin isn’t just another random stop on the retail map. The former reality star and podcaster told Spill the ATX that Austin has always been the top of her list for a store, it was just about finding the right location. “I love Austin,” she said. “I’ve been coming here for years and years and I always have the best time.”

But that’s not all. She also thinks Austin has the best food scene.

Speaking of that, the store is located just steps away from another celeb favorite, Aba. A little shopping, followed by eats and drinks at the Mediterranean restaurant. Sounds like a perfect way to spend a day!
