Marble Falls

Whether it’s Christmas time or anytime, Marble Falls is one of the most Hallmark towns to visit in Texas! The Central Texas town offers all things Hill Country: camping, glamping, breweries, wineries, galleries, shopping and plenty of outdoor fun. Exploring Marble Falls during the Christmas season is a magical experience, with festive lights illuminating the historic downtown, charming shops offering unique holiday gifts and a calendar full of joyful events that capture the spirit of the holidays. Those events include a winter ice rink, walkway of lights, light up Christas parade and more!

Georgetown

If you want to feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie, be sure to visit one of our favorites: Georgetown, Texas. Often considered the most beautiful town square in Texas, it’s the perfect place to wander during the holiday season. The square is lit up throughout the holiday season but that’s not all that makes this town worth a visit. With their annual tree lighting, holiday stroll, seasonal shows playing at the Palace Theater and more, you’ll get all the small town feels in Georgetown!

Wimberley

Wimberley’s charm really shines this time of year with plenty of community and small town style events One of our favorites is The EmilyAnn’s Trail of Lights. The trail runs most days in December and is a walking trail through approximately eight acres of lighted exhibits. It is free to attend; however, donations are graciously accepted at several donation stations at the entrance and throughout the grounds. Most nights feature live entertainment on the stage next to our yule log where guests can enjoy complimentary marshmallows and hot chocolate. On select nights, Santa Claus flies in from the North Pole and will be in his house to greet everyone! There will also be several special event nights throughout the run of the trail. Check for special event night here.

Johnson City

Head west of Austin for a breathtaking holiday display you won’t soon forget. “The Twinkliest Town in Texas” boasts over two million twinkling lights in their historic square off Main Street, Memorial Park and PEC headquarters. The Johnson City Holiday Lights is so impressive that even NASA has reportedly seen the glow from space! The lights display is free to visit and fun for the whole family.
