You Don’t Want To Miss The Field of Light at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

A stunning light display is happening at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and this is one exhibit you do not want to miss! Bruce Munro’s Field of Light will is now open to the public.

Here’s everything you need to know about Field of Light!

What: Brought to you by C3 Presents, in collaboration with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, 16 acres in the Texas Arboretum at the Wildflower Center will be illuminated by British artist Bruce Munro’s Field of Light. The display features 28,000 solar-powered stems of light.

When: Starting September 9, 2022, the installation will run Thursdays through Sundays from 6:45 to 10:30 p.m. through December. Entry times will be in 15-minute increments and will vary based on the sunset.

Price: Tickets start at $41 for adults and will offer guests of all ages the opportunity to experience this incredible intersection of art, technology, and nature. In addition to being able to marvel at the Central Texas landscape in a whole new way, guests are encouraged to make a night of it by enjoying food and drinks from local vendors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wildflower Center.
