Austin pop band Wiretree’s new single, “Let Me In,” is a great pop song that has a polished sound while still remaining unique. Opening with a building guitar riff, it feels like the band is leading up to something huge, though nothing big happens. Everything is not lost however, as the chorus is a memorable one that shows off the group’s soft harmonies that make a big impact in less than two minutes.
While there are a few of these types of bands playing around town, Wiretree is a rarity to enjoy and savor every time you listen.
