The Long Center is hosting a free community day filled with music, workouts, food trucks, football and more! Happening on September 6, the event celebrates the Long Center’s mission of building community through creativity and continues co-founder Dr. Teresa Lozano Long’s vision of making the arts accessible to all.
Here’s what you can expect at the free community day celebration!
Community Day will feature performances throughout the Long Center campus from a variety of artists and disciplines, including:

Long Center Members can join the fun early with an invitation to the Community Day Member Jazz Brunch, featuring mimosas, breakfast tacos, and a Members-only backstage tour, with special performance by Huston-Tillotson Jazz Collective. Those who are not yet a Long Center Member can join at just $95 for a limited time and get access to the brunch while supporting the future of free Long Center events like Community Day.
