TV’s The Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, Becomes Travis County Deputy

Known for playing The Incredible Hulk on TV in the late 70s/ early 80s, Lou Ferrigno was already a Los Angeles County Reserve Deputy. Now, he can add Travis County Deputy to his list of honors as well.

While in town for Wizard World Austin, Ferrigno swung by the Travis County Sheriff’s office to thank officers and pose for pics. While on site, Sheriff Sally Hernandez also swore him in as an honorary deputy.

The “Fear the Walking Dead” Gang Escapes Brackenridge Hospital

For the second week in a row, we got to go inside a zombie infested Brackenridge Hospital on “Fear the Walking Dead.” The episode featured scenes shot inside the hospital, on the roof, and atop a nearby parking garage.

The season concludes on Sunday at 8 p.m. on AMC.

More Fantastic Appearances at The Alamo Drafthouse

Jonah Hill screened his directorial debut film Mid90s at Fantastic Fest on Monday. The following day, Jack Black and his Tenacious D partner Kyle Gass showed their new Youtube series “Post Apocalypto,” which was followed by a short performance at the Highball. And on Wednesday, Flash Gordon himself Sam Jones appeared in conjunction with a screening of Flash Gordon in 35mm and the documentary Life After Flash.

Bobby Bones Dances His Heart Out on “Dancing With The Stars”

Who knew Bobby Bones would be so excited about appearing on “Dancing With The Stars?” Following his performance on Monday night’s premiere, the radio host couldn’t contain himself. Even his partner was stunned by his intense celebration, which you can watch in the clip below (along with highlights of his dance).

Bones returns for week two of the competition on Monday at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Reese Witherspoon Book Signing at Magnolia Market

Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon appeared at the Silos at Magnolia Market on Thursday to sign copies of her book “Whiskey in a Tea Cup.” Joanna Gaines was, of course, in attendance, as was Jenna Bush Hager, her sister Barbara, and mom Laura Bush.
