Drew Brees Sets NFL Record

Westlake grad Drew Brees became the NFL’s all-time leading passer during Monday night’s game against the Washington Redskins.

The New Orleans Saints QB was captured on the sideline after setting the record telling his kids, “You can accomplish anything in life you’re willing to work for, right?”

Bobby Bones Gets Serious on “Dancing With The Stars”

Bobby Bones made it through another elimination on “Dancing With The Stars.”

This week’s theme was Most Memorable Year and the radio DJ chose to focus on graduating from high school, as he was the first member of his family to accomplish that feat.

ACL Music Fest Rocks Zilker Park

Bobby Bones’ fellow “DWTS” contestant Tinashe performed at weekend one of ACL Music Festival (and will be back for weekend two).

Travis Scott also took the stage, after serving as the musical guest on “SNL” the night prior. Baby mama Kylie Jenner did not join Scott in Austin; however, there were many other famous faces at the fest.

Celebrities love ACL!

Each year, we spot a variety of celebs at ACL and this year was no exception. Austinites and “Supernatural” stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles were out and about, as they have been the last few years. But, this year, they weren’t alone! Fellow past CW stars Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries”), Alexis Bledel (“Gilmore Girls”), and Jessica Szohr (“Gossip Girl”) were also in Austin for the weekend.

BMI Says Howdy Texas

BMI hosted their annual Howdy Texas party at the Yeti Flagship Store on Thursday night. The party featured sets from ACL performers Mt. Joy and Nicole Atkins. Familiar faces we spotted in the crowd included guitarist David Grissom, Vallejo frontman AJ Vallejo, KGSR/ ACL Radio’s Andy Langer, Jack Ingram, and Asleep at the Wheel’s Ray Benson.
