Conor McGregor Hosts Liquor Promo in Austin

After being spotted on the sidelines at last weekend’s Cowboy’s game, UFC champ Conor McGregor made appearances in Austin to promote his Proper No. Twelve Whiskey.

The liquor is selling so fast in Ireland that some store are limiting customers to purchasing two bottles per customer per day. No word on whether patrons of Third Base and Lavaca Street Bar were rushing out to buy it after Monday night’s special events.

F1 Weekend Revs Up in Austin

F1 weekend has arrived which means race enthusiasts are headed to Austin, including many famous fans. Last year’s celebrity sightings included “Chicago Fire” star Taylor Kinney, Michael Douglas, President Bill Clinton, and more.

To kick off the high fueled weekend, Red Bull hosted an event at Buford’s Backyard Bar with driver Max Verstappen. When asked about breakfast tacos, the Dutch driver said, “Who would want to eat a taco for breakfast?” Ahhh, so much to learn, young grasshopper. Here’s hoping he gets some time to enjoy our fine Tex Mex scene while in town.

Former MTV teen mom Farrah Abraham was in the crowd at the event.
