On his latest track “I Came to Sing the Song,” Adam Torres has composed a song consisting of only an acoustic guitar and his angelic voice, which has all the potential for being a local hit. The song is incredibly simple and will likely remind some listeners of James Vincent McMorrow for his high and hypnotizing vocal range.
For anyone wishing that a musician would sing them to sleep, they stumbled upon the right one to do the job. If you are interested in checking out more of Torres’ work, his upcoming EP, I Came to Sing the Song, will be out on Fat Possum Records on February 26, 2017.
