Blues On The Green Is Back! Here’s Everything You Need To Know

After headlines announcing the cancellation of the Austin institution in 2023 and much outrage, Blues on the Green is back again for 2025! Waterloo Media is presenting the beloved community concert at Zilker Park on August 5 and 6.

Here’s everything you need to know about Blues on the Green!

The 34th Blues on the Green concert series will take place at Zilker Park on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6! As the longest running FREE concert series in Austin, BOTG brings thousands of music lovers to Zilker Park to enjoy a family and pet friendly night of music. Though the event began as a celebration of the blues, it has evolved into an eclectic, diverse showcase for Austin-based artists from a variety of genres.

2025 Lineup:

The park and vendors open at 5:30 p.m. with the music starting at 7 p.m.

On April 5, the Antones 50th All-Stars kick off the evening with Ruthie Foster, Sue Foley and The Peterson Brothers. Next up, enjoy a set by BLACKCHYL followd by headliner Bob Schneider.

The August 6 lineup includes Elijah Delgado, Next of Kin and Chaparelle.

• The stage is located on the east end of Zilker Park where Lou Neff Road wraps around –
similar to the location of the main ACL stage.
• What’s allowed: water, blankets, lawn chairs, dogs on leashes, children.
• What’s prohibited: glass, alcohol, weapons, fireworks, styrofoam and anything else prohibited by
the Austin Parks and Recreation Department. Smoking is also prohibited in the park.
• Food, water, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from our vendors.
• Two bars will be on site for 21+ to enjoy alcoholic beverages.
