No Need to Break the Bank While Festing – ACL Fest is Filled With Freebies
Sure, ACL Fest is a musical festival at its core. But it’s become so much more than that! As much as it’s about the music, it’s also about the food, the drinks, the fashion and the people-watching.
Though the ticket price can be steep, a fun festival weekend doesn’t have to break the bank. That’s because there are plenty of freebies to be found in and around the fest!
Here are a few of our favorite freebies at ACL 2025:
- A specially designed t-shirt awaits those who spend some of their festival down time helping to keep the park clean with their Rock & Recycle program, which is co-presented by H-E-B.
- Nothing beats the heat like staying hydrated, and because ACL cares about you and the environment, you just need to bring your reusable containers and head to the YETI Hydration stations for free, cool, filtered water to keep you going.
Chill out at the Tito’s Chillmaster5000! At the giant walk-in fridge you can beat the heat in between your favorite sets. We assume they’ll have some swag on hand as they do every year.
Check In To The Amex Experience
At the Amex Experience, all festival goers can explore an immersive space with all kinds of perks. Card Members will be gifted an exclusive cross body bag that they can customize with Austin-themed charms (think bats, musical instruments and the iconic flags).
- Guests can take photos in a retro music room adorned with colorful posters, a light up peg board, and throwback decor. There will also be a photo booth where guests can insert themselves onto an album cover to share on social media and save as a keepsake.
Plus, all guests can grab a refreshing can of classic Coke out of retro-style fridges, in partnership with Coca Cola.
The Amex side-stage returns as well. Exclusively available to Platinum Card Members next to the American Express Stage, this space features a lounge to reset and get up close to the music (space is limited). Eligible Card Members can also enjoy exclusive access to a dedicated side-stage area for the set of their choice, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Platinum Card Members can bring up to two guests into the space. And that’s not all, card members can personalize platinum bolo ties, while supplies last. And during two daily “happy hours,” Platinum Card Members can receive a complimentary Jolene canned Cold Brew or Latte and all guests can grab a Rambler sparkling water.
In the Club With T-Mobile
The go-to spot for fans who want more than just a view is Club Magenta, a members-only destination (for T-Mobile customers + a guest). Located near the T-Mobile Stage, designed for shade, comfort and exclusive perks here’s everything they offer:
● Premium Viewing Area: Shaded lounge with prime stage sightlines, A/C, charging stations and refreshments
● Bandana Charm Bar: Design custom bandana necklaces with your choice of color and charms (12–4PM daily)
● T-Mobile Gumball Machine: Back by popular demand after Lollapalooza, the oversized T-Mobile Gumball Machine is loaded with major prizes (12PM daily while supplies last). Spin to Win: Prizes include ACL Aftershow tickets, T-Mobile Backstage wristbands (including side-stage

Keep Austin Young at Kiddie Limits
- Children ages 8 and under can once again attend the festival for free when accompanied by a paid ticketed adult. The limit is two children per ticketed adult. However, this year it will be necessary for them to register for the Tag-Your-Kid program to receive a wristband, which will serve as their ticket for festival entry. - Be sure to bring the kids by Austin Kiddie Limits. Activities include: bandana coloring with Siete, and H-E-B shopping experience just for the kiddos, a ProBugs Paint Station presented by Kefir, a button station, hip hop workshop, strolling circus performers and so much more! Full details here.
