Austin FC is headed back to the pitch later this month. But before the first whistle blows, the club’s food and beverage team showed Austin.com what fans can expect this season. The message is simple: plan your game day experience around the food.

Q2 Stadium continues to lean heavily into Austin’s local restaurant scene, bringing familiar favorites and thoughtful new offerings into the stadium experience. We sampled a wide range of plates, and there truly wasn’t a miss among them. The stadium’s culinary experience is designed to hold its own in a city where expectations around food are high.

A few of the dishes we tried during the tasting included:
-
- • la Barbeque’s juicy and tender brisket
- • Kesos Tacos’ chicken fajita tacos
- • Chi’Lantro’s K Pop Chicken
- • JABS signature Halal beef sliders
- • ONETACO’s birria quesadillas with their new scratch-made corn tortillas
But that’s not all. Other restaurants with food available at the stadium include 512 Food Co., Mum Foods, Casa Chapala and more.

What stood out most was the variety, from burgers to tacos to barbecue. Whether you’re craving something indulgent, comforting or easy to eat between plays, there’s no shortage of options. This isn’t typical stadium food you settle for. It’s food you actually look forward to.
If you’re heading to a match this season, our advice is simple: go hungry. Give yourself time to explore, share bites with friends and treat the game as both a sporting event AND a food crawl.
