The F1 season may be over but you can still toast the holidays like a Formula 1 champ. Ferrari Trento serves as the official toast of Formula 1 and it is what the winning drivers spray on the podium at COTA as well as most other races throughout the season.
We spent some time with Matteo Lunelli, the President & CEO of Ferrari Trento, during the USGP in Austin. The brand has been a partner with F1 since 2021 so this wasn’t Lunelli’s first trip to the ATX. “Every time I come back here, I truly appreciate the warm welcome I feel from this town,” Lunelli told Austin.com
When asked what his favorite thing is about Austin, he had this to say:
COTA is a terrific circuit, and Austin is such a dynamic city that draws fans from all over the country and beyond. There’s a great energy in Austin for the USGP and I really like the joyful atmosphere of Texas. Every time I come to Austin, I bring my Lucchese Boots with me and I always wear them for parties and celebrations in perfect Texas style.

Though he doesn’t have lot of free time when coming to Austin for the race, he did get to hit up a few places while in town. Lunelli raved about the excellent meals and hospitality at La Piscina, the rooftop restaurant at the Austin Proper.
The West 2nd Street hotel is one of the many places in town where you can order Ferrari Trento. Other places where you can try the Italian sparkling wine include: Cru, Eddie V’s, Fairmont Austin, Four Seasons Hotel Austin, the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Regency Lost Pines, J. Ferrari Trento is an excellent choice for toasting the holidays or ringing in the new year. You can find it in several H-E-B stores, Total Wine, the Neighborhood Vintner, and Wanderlust Wine Co.
