There’s a new seafood experience near downtown Austin that’s currently offering some fintastic specials! Pearl & Fin Oyster Bar is located where Sushi Zushi operated for many years and the restaurant is keeping up the tradition of fresh fare at a moderate price.
We recently dined there and before we get to our faves, we want to tell you about some of the deals they’re offering.
Pearl & Fin Oyster Bar Serves Up Special Deals For Summer
First off, kids eat free all Monday night at Pearl & Fin. Their children’s menu features options like butter pasta, burger slider and fries, cheese pizza, fish and fries, and chicken tenders.
Plan a Sunday Funday with their new Sunday Vibe Brunch! Why is it a vibe? Because this is more of a party than your traditional brunch. Sunday Vibe Brunch happens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a live DJ, $1 Gulf oysters and $1 mimosas, as well as your classic brunch items like lobster benny, a lox bagel, smashed avocado toast and more.
You’ll have a tough time finding a better deal on oysters and margs at their $1 weekday happy hour. Happening Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., HH includes $1 gulf oysters and margaritas, and $5 glasses of wine, champagne and beer options.
Austin Restaurant Recommendation: Pearl & Fin Oyster Bar
What We Ate:
- Oysters (duh). The restaurant offers over 20 types of fresh-caught oysters flown in fresh daily from the East and Pacific Coasts. We let the chef pick the best options to include in our order of a dozen.
- Crab Cake with chipotle aioli and arugula.
- Crispy Squash Flowers stuffed with farmer’s cheese, goat cheese, and chives.
- Lobster Ravioli served with parmesan, heavy cream, and basil oil.
- Seared Scallops with corn maque choux, avocado crema, cilantro, and parmesan foam.
We also enjoyed a refreshing key lime pie for dessert as well as a variety of drinks throughout the evening including an espresso martini and old fashioned.
