Calling all carnivores and foodies, this one is for you. We know it feels like there’s always a new restaurant opening in Austin because, well, there is. But we recently tried Aris, a mediterranean steakhouse, and it was so good we just have to tell you about it. If you love mediterranean dishes and steakhouse classics that deliver on every level, look no further than Aris. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy, and sophisticated atmosphere. Whether you’re dining for a special occasion, date night, girls night out, or just treating yourself to a great meal, Aris sets the perfect tone for an unforgettable experience.

Aris – A Mediterranean Steakhouse Experience Like No Other

The food is nothing short of amazing. Every dish is expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, blending the bold flavors of the mediterranean with high-quality cuts of steak. The menu offers a variety of options, from succulent, perfectly seared steaks to fresh seafood and vibrant sides that complement the rich flavors beautifully. We were dining with a group of 12 people and the staff didn’t skip a beat. And let’s not forget that they had just opened!

What to Order

We can’t think of a single thing we disliked but there were a few dishes that we’re honestly still thinking about. The carpaccio was probably the best. It’s made with balsamic, capers, garlic aioli, and you have the choice to add black truffle! Another stand-out dish was the Aris cigar. Imagine perfectly seasoned ground beef wrapped and fried in filo dough with a pinenut hummus to dip into. Is your mouth watering yet? Now for the best part, the steak. We had a butcher board with four different steaks. On the board was their short rib, rib eye, bone-in NY strip, and a porterhouse. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there was also bone marrow.

All of Aris’s beef is USDA Prime selected and butchered in-house, so when they say everything is fresh, they mean it. Seriously, if you haven’t made a reservation at this point, what are you even doing?
