September seems to last forever but October is wizzing by! Halloween is approaching so fast and so are halloween events. This year, the holiday falls on a Sunday which means the city will be crazed all weekend long. With so many Halloween options in and around Austin, things can get a little overwhelming. We thought we would help by narrowing down just a few family-friendly events we recommend!

Here are the top three Halloween events perfect for the whole family!

Garden Seventeen Fall Festival

604 Williams Street

Garden Seventeen is hosting their second annual Fall Festival on October 23 and 24 from 12 to 4 p.m. There will be 24 local vendors setting up their booths outside, some of which include vegan bakers, ceramicists, and artists with themed halloween goodies! Inside they will have a pumpkin patch, prize wheel, giveaways, and plants! A $5 minimum purchase grants you one spin on the prize wheel and a purchase of $50 or more enters you in a giveaway for a chance to win gift cards and other prizes from some of our local vendors.

604 Coffee, the onsite coffee trailer will have their full menu of hot and cold drinks, as well as some seasonal items like pumpkin spice lattes and hot apple cider! They are even running $1 special on their cider for all festival attendees (while supplies last).

Mark your calendars now because you won’t want to miss this family, pet, and people friendly fall event! It is also a great opportunity to take some photos in a pumpkin patch!

Fearless!! Weekend at Faith4Life Church

1000 McNeil Road (Round Rock)

The church offers services on both Friday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m.). But the highlight of the weekend holiday celebration is a drive-in screening of Chronicles Of Narnia on Sunday. Candy and snacks will be provided to enhance the movie going experience. The FREE drive-in movie starts at 7 p.m.

Our Savior Lutheran’s Annual Fall Festival

1513 East Yager Lane

At the Our Savior Lutheran annual Fall Fest, there will be live music, food and drinks, face painting, paint a pumpkin, hay rides, games, a petting zoo, a movie on the lawn, and trunk or treat. Get your favorite costume ready and bring your family and friends out for this fun filled night on Saturday, October 30. The fun starts at 6 p.m.
