Touch-A-Truck returns to Camp Mabry on May 7, 2016! This annual fundraiser for Austin Children’s Shelter will be bigger and better than ever, with more trucks, more food, and more fun! Read all about it, then enter to win VIP tickets for four!
Last year, I took my son to Touch-A-Truck when his construction vehicle obsession was at an all time high. He was in heaven! He loved getting to climb up into all the big trucks to touch and operate the controls. He also wasn’t shy about drilling the drivers about every little button. “What’s dis doos?” he asked repeatedly. And every one of the drivers/operators was incredibly friendly and patient, answering all of his questions and showing him how the controls worked.
Touch-A-Truck offers more fun than just trucks, too! Food trucks, a petting zoo, bounce houses, games, a barrel-train ride, live music, and more fun for the whole family (even those who might not be wild about trucks).
This event is a huge fundraiser for Austin Children’s Shelter, and there’s no better way to spend a Saturday!
About Touch-A-Truck
Touch-A-Truck will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Camp Mabry (2200 W 35th St, Austin) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. VIP hour will be from 9-10 a.m. Touch-A-Truck will take place rain or shine. Please note that you must present a photo ID to enter Camp Mabry.
General Admission is $5 per person. VIP tickets are available for $20 per person, which gets you in an hour early so you can skip the lines. Each child over 12 months and each adult needs a ticket. Tickets may be purchased here. Remember that all tickets purchased are considered a non-refundable, 100% tax-deductible donation to Austin Children’s Shelter.
