Get Your Workout On While Helping Australia Wildlife

Most recent estimates say around 17.9 million acres have burned in Australia. That’s roughly the size of South Carolina! As homes and wildlife continue to be threatened, two Austin spin instructors have come up with a way to help with Australia wildlife rescue efforts.

Megan Knight & Bryan Gonzales of LOVE Cycling Studio  are hosting WILD – a series of four fundraising rides aimed at generating donations for WIRES. Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organization, WIRES needs urgent assistance to help with these unprecedented emergencies.

The duo will co-teach each class together at LOVE Cycling Studio with the goal of raising awareness and maximizing donations.

These are the available class times:

  • Wednesday, January 29 | 6:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 29 | 7:15 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 1 | 10:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, February 1 | 11:30 a.m.

A post-workout happy hour will offer complimentary cocktails made with cold-pressed juice from Juiceland and FIX Vodka, an all new high-alkaline vodka made from organic corn and high-PH Texas well water. For more mild imbibers, there will be cold cans of Passion Fruit Guava Redbud, Independence Brewing Co.’s spring Seasonal Berliner Weisse, and Austin Eastciders. Austin based activewear brand Outdoor Voices will raffle off one apparel item in each class, perfect for #DoingThings.

Spots are limited so click here to book your bike now. If class is not yet bookable, email [email protected] to be added.

If you’s like to make additional donations to help Australia Wildlife, you can donate directly to WIRES here.
