Festival Season Kicks Off With Three Of The Best Austin Events

Festival season in Austin is here! That means, almost every weekend you can find a mass gathering somewhere around town. This weekend, there are a handful events that need to be on your radar.

2nd Annual Teresa Lozano Long Community Day

At the 2nd Annual Teresa Lozano Long Community Day, the Long Center hosts a block-party bash featuring community partners, activities, and performances all over the building. Look forward to KIDosky crafts and games, live music, food trucks, and more. Plus, a special return of Long Center favorite BubblePalooza, presented by H-E-B, taking over the H-E-B Terrace!  More info is available here.

Texas Wellness Day

Join for a fun-filled day of health and wellness at Texas Wellness Day! Discover a dynamic mix of wellness vendors featuring up-and-coming brands, beloved Austin favorites, and unique wellness experiences. Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival

Appropriately staged each year during the sweltering end of summer, the fest features hundreds of hot sauce samples from more than 20 commercial bottlers. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite sauces for the People’s Choice Awards, announced on stage at the event. This year’s live music lineup includes The Past Lives, Redbud, Flight by Nothing, and DJ Island Time. Full details can be found here.
