It’s that time of year again: South By Southwest is happening March 8 to 16, 2024. The 10 day interactive, music, and film festival is getting ready to take over Austin again. The festival has done nothing but grow since it first started in 1987 and while some locals love it, others hate it. If you hate it, this article isn’t for you. Try this one! Shaking It Up: The Life and Times of Liz Carpenter – A documentary about Liz Carpenter; writer, feminist, reporter, media advisor, speechwriter, political humorist, public relations expert and Texan.
Music
The festival has always been a great place for seeing the bands you love and discovering new music. With over 350 showcasing artists announced, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
