Domain NORTHSIDE is excited to bring you a FREE live performance by Austin native and internationally renowned musician Gary Clark Jr. Happening on Friday, December 13, the show is in celebration of the opening of BUMPSUIT. The event will also feature a pop-up bar by Grimaldi’s, yard games, photo opportunities and more.
“After spending our summer on tour as a family with Gary and his band, we are excited to end the year at Domain NORTHSIDE to coincide with the opening of our BUMPSUIT store,” said Nicole Trunfio, wife to Clark Jr., who recently announced her new maternity brand has joined the center for a six-month pop-up in the former SKIMS workshop.
Clark is an Austin native who began his journey as a teen guitar prodigy, getting co-signs from Eric Clapton among others. Making his major label debut with the 2011 Warner Records EP The Bright Lights, Clark has since released three studio albums: 2012’s Blak and Blu, 2015’s The Story of Sonny Boy Slim and 2019’s This Land. He has won four Grammy Awards including Best Traditional R&B Performance for Blak and Blu’s “Please Come Home”, and Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Music Video for title track “This Land.”
The FREE show will take place on Domain Boulevard, next to Vuori and across the street from the new BUMPSUIT storefront. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.
