Celebrate the New Year With A Free Third Eye Blind Show in Austin

Still looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve? You could live a semi-charmed kind of life at Austin’s New Year celebration. The free event will be headlined by Third Eye Blind! And that’s not all.

Here’s everything you need to know about Austin’s New Year 2025 event!

Happening on Tuesday, December 31, Austin’s annual free New Year celebration starts at 7 p.m. at Auditorium Shores. Brought to you by Visit Austin and the City of Austin, the event featured live performances throughout the night plus a variety of food and beverage vendors.

As mentioned, the family friendly evening begins at 7 p.m. when the park grounds, food trucks, and beer garden open. Expect musical performances by DJ Mel, Angélica Rahe, Gina Chavez, and headliner Third Eye Blind. There will be a countdown starting just before midnight, ending with a new year fireworks show.

Ride share and public transportation is encouraged, though there are some parking garages nearby. These include One Texas Center and Palmer Event Center Garage, as well as the City Hall parking lot just across the lake.
