If you love oysters, you don’t want to miss Bill’s Oyster. But don’t let the name fool you. They also offer other seafood options, a burger they proclaim is one of the best in Austin, as well as a vast cocktail menu.
Austin Restaurant Recommendation: Bill’s Oyster
What We Ate:
- Oysters (duh), including their Royale Style with Uni, Caviar, and Suauce Bearnoise
- Lobster Roll, served with fries and caviar ranch (we requested this)
- Crab & Andouille Hushpuppies
- Market Fish, which happened to be a red fish served with shrimp and grits
What We Drank:
- Dirty Tito’s Martini (on Happy Hour)
- Bloody Mary (because we love their cocktail sauce)
- French 75
- Espresso Martini
- Sandy Claw (special winter cocktail consisting of: vodka, pumpkin spice, espresso syrup).
Happy Hour (everyday from 3 to 5:30 p.m.):
- Oysters (Raw) – $3 each
- Beer – $4
- Tito’s / Beefeater Martini – $10
- Wine by the Bottle – 20% Off
- Unlimited fries and caviar ranch with a bottle of champagne
