Britney Spears performed on Sunday night of F1 in Austin. Not only was it the final event of race weekend, it was the final performance of her Piece of Me tour. She’ll be back in Vegas in February with a new show at The Park at MGM titled “Domination.”
Celebrity Race Fans at F1 Weekend in Austin
Speaking of the race, a handful of celebrities were on hand for the action packed weekend. WWE wrestler The Miz posted a slew of pictures and stories of himself and wife Maryse at race events throughout the weekend. Matthew McConaughey was featured on the big screen out at the track. And, we crossed paths with Taylor Kinney from “Chicago Fire” at the Britney Spears show.
Josh Duhammel and Leslie Bibb Shoot New Movie in Austin
John Duhammel posted a picture on his Instagram feed stating that he’s back in Texas shooting the film The Lost Husband. The film also features some young Austin actors including Callie Hope Haverda, and Stone and Roxton Garcia.
Austin Film Fest Brings Award Winning Actors to Austin
The Austin Film Fest kicked off on Thursday with Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman in attendance for the opening night film Vox Lux. Adrian Grenier and Austinite Zane Holtz were on hand for Beyond the Night, while Frankie Muniz made an appearance at the screening of The Black String.
Jared and Gen Padalecki Encourage Austinites to Vote
Jared and Gen Padalecki hosted a Facebook live with MJ Hegar telling followers that they will match donations up to $40k to the MJ Victory Fund. They’ve also been vocal about their support for Beto. On Thursday, Gen also made an appearance at the new West Sixth area bar Stereotype with Danielle Skidmore, who is running to rep district 9 in Austin.
