The Grinch is ready to get you into the holiday spirit. Now through December 11, your heart will grow three sizes when you watch Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical at Bass Concert Hall!
The Grinch broke box office records on Broadway during its holiday engagements. Gannett papers hailed it as “A genius of a show! A total delight for both kids and adults.” We can confirm that audiences here in Austin agree. The crowd was laughing, cheering and even singing along throughout the show. Don’t worry, the singing was encouraged!
Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch tries to steal Christmas away from the holiday-loving Whos. But Cindy Lou Who ultimately melts his heart. And she will melt yours too! Cindy is played by alternating actresses Aerina Deboer and Sofie Nesanelis. Nesanelis played the role on opening night here in Austin and she was a joy to watch.
