Tonight is the last time you’ll be able to walk through Waterloo Greenway’s light spectacular known as Creek Show.
But be prepared for a line. One of our fellow Austinites posted this pic of the line on Friday night.
This is Ninth Street between Red River and I-35, next to The Beverly Austin apartments.
Launched in 2014 as a one-night event, Creek Show has grown in popularity each year with over 50,000 attendees in 2018.
This year’s art experience features six new stunning installations. Additionally, there’s a Creek Show Lounge with a variety of family-friendly programming, a photo booth, and the H-E-B Family Zone which includes interactive activities from Thinkery, Mad Science, Austin FC, and more.
The Creek Show is open from 6 to 10 p.m. for closing night tonight with music from Big Wy’s Brass Band at 8 p.m.
We suggest arriving early.
