Olympics Opening Ceremony Watch Party with ATX TV Festival
Friday, July 26 | 6 p.m. | Vacancy Brewing, 415 E St. Elmo Road

You won’t want to miss this historic event, as for the first time ever, the Opening Ceremony for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games starts with a parade of athletes traveling along the Seine River. Hosted by Mike Tirico, the Opening Ceremony will also feature Kelly Clarkson, Peyton Manning, Maria Taylor, Savanna Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb. They will have drink specials, featuring a Red, White & Rosé BOXT wine flight.

Lavaca Street Bar Opening Day Party
Friday, July 26 | 12:30 p.m. | Lavaca Street Bar, 3121 S. Lamar Boulevard

The South Lamar location of Lavaca Street is hosting a party for the first day of the Olympics. Enjoy classic bites like corn dogs, hot dogs, and more while watching the games with fellow fans.

The Domain’s mini-golf restaurant and bar will be showing primetime Olympic games starting at 7 p.m. each day. The bar will also offer free shots appropriately called “The Gold Medal” whenever Team U.S.A. wins gold!

Two-time Olympic track and field medalist and Austin resident Gabby Thomas is heading bsck to the Olympics. The Well is celebrating with her limited time Gabby’s Gold smoothie featuring pineapple, mango, coconut cream, medjool date paste, Golden Milk powder and Himalayan salt, topped with Goji berries. 

Parlor & Yard is cheering on USA with a special Olympics-themed drinks menu from July 26 through August 11. Not only will the Olympics games be featured on the big screens, but they’re also hosting a fun Olympics-style competition. The “Barlympics” will include riveting games of flip cup, water pong, ring toss, and more. Food and drink prizes will be awarded.

Pizzeria Sportiva is offering an all day happy hour throughout the Olympic games. Their happy hour includes $2 off any pizza, appetizers, cocktails, beer on tap, and wine by the glass. They invite you to come to their South Lamar location for great pizza, stay for the wine, and catch a glimpse of the games!

The Omni Austin Hotel Downtown will be featuring food and drink specials in celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The hotel will kick off the festivities with a small celebration in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26 . Taking place in the gorgeous newly renovated lobby space, they’ll be offering guests homemade gold, silver, and bronze cookies as well as the Paris Games Punch (pineapple, charred orange, lemonade).

Themed food and drink specials will be available throughout the hotel from Friday July, 26 through Sunday, August 11 at Capital A, Cloud Bar, and President’s House Coffee. Expect to find drinks like Scottie’s Hole-in-One (bourbon, peach liqueur, lemon, and honey syrup), Gabby’s Sprint ( a frozen strawberry margarita), and Brody’s Maneuver (a peach cream latte with white chocolate mocha, peach, and milk foam). Food specials include Sha’Carri’s Spirit (truffled local mushrooms, goat cheese, shallots, balsamic, and dill) and Kyle’s Headlock (a smoked bacon smashburger).
