Watch This Man Serenade His Wife With A Trumpet Solo At Austin’s Airport

At the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Monday afternoon, Austinite Ed Zamora walked into the terminal to pick up his wife of 33 years as she returned home from a two-week vacation in Spin. What happened next has people all over town smiling ear-to-ear.

As his wife, Melody, emerged from the gates and took her first step onto the escalator to greet her husband, he raised a trumpet to his lips and began to play “What A Wonderful World.” Thankfully, someone was at the ready with a camera, capturing the heartwarming video seen below.

“And that’s what you call a wonderful welcome!” the airport’s social media team later wrote on the ABIA Facebook page. “Ed & Melody, thanks for sharing your special moment with us! And welcome home Mrs. Zamora!”
