The last week of September… already?! While the temperatures are still in the nineties, September is saying goodbye this week with some amazing FREE things to do around Austin, check them out below.

EmpowHER Hour: Ashley Raymond with Safely

Join us for our first EmpowHER Hour of the semester, where Ashley Raymond talks about how to validate a problem and generate ideas.

Adult Story Hour: “Handmade”
Monday, September 26th | From 7 to 8 p.m. | Austin Central Library, 710 West Cesar Chavez Street

Adult Storytelling event – September’s theme is “Handmade.” ASL interpreters will be present. We will meet in-person and virtually.

Fitness Fun
Tuesday, September 27th | From 6 to 7 p.m. | Waterloo Greenway, 1111 Red River Street

Turn the energy UP with a workout that’ll bring on the sweat! Keep crushing your day in Fitness Fun’s variety of fitness, dance, or Pilates workouts at Waterloo Park on the Love, Tito’s Lawn!

Skate Night at Elgin
Tuesday, September 27th | From 6 to 8 p.m. | City of Elgin Parks and Rec, 361 N HWY 95, Elgin

ALL WHEELS ARE WELCOME!  Come skate, bike, roller blade and scooter safely, at the Elgin Recreation Center.  This event is fun for all ages and completely FREE. We will hang out, listen to music, wheel around and make new friends!

Yoga for Toddlers and Their Grown-Ups
Wednesday, September 28th | From 10 to 11 a.m. | Pease Park, 1100 Kingsbury Street

Come stretch, breathe, move, dance, relax, create, and have FUN! These classes will include age-appropriate yoga and movement.

Sunset & Savasana Outdoor Yoga Flow
Wednesday, September 28th | From 7 to 8 p.m. | My Vinyasa Practice, 109 Jacob Fontaine Lane

A FREE yoga flow right on the lawn this Wednesday at Jacob Fontaine Park, directly across from the My Vinyasa Practice studio. Enjoy an all-levels evening flow outside under a canopy of 300-year-old oak trees. Leave refreshed and keep an eye out for what we have planned next!

Baby Bumblebees Lapsit Storytime

A lapsit storytime for those 0-18 months old and their caregivers! Babies, bring your grownups to enjoy stories, songs and a bit of playtime.

Where Flavors Meet

Pack your bags, we’re headed to “Where Flavors Meet” with Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky for an Orkney experience within the Austin City Limits. 21+. RSVP required.

American Indian Heritage Day 2022
