It shows what used to be Fischer Store Road’s bridge over the Blanco River near Wimberley, where at least 12 people are confirmed missing after the floods. If this freaks you out, consider volunteering for the Red Cross of Central and South Texas. Thousands of people were displaced in our area over the last few days. They desperately need your help right now. Although we’ve got a break from the downpours today, forecasts say to expect more of these storms in the coming weeks. The sooner you can get trained as a Red Cross volunteer, the better off we’ll all be.
