Austin wouldn’t be the live music capital of the world if it didn’t have such a variety of genres and venues. Here’s our list of the best Austin music events in Austin this February.

Wolf Parade | Monday, February 3 | 6:30 p.m. | Mohawk, 912 Red River
The Canadian indie rock band is on tour after their six year hiatus to promote their upcoming album, Thin Mind.

Saxon Songwriter Series | Wednesday, February 5 | 6 p.m. | Saxon Pub, 1320 South Lamar Boulevard
Check out the FREE series of wildly talented singer-songwriters. Presented by BMI.

Dashboard Confessional | Wednesday, February 5 | 6 p.m.| Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, 801 Red River
Don’t miss celebrating 20 years of Dashboard Confessional. They will be playing a mix of their music dating back to 2000.

Highly Suspect | Thursday, February 6 | 7 p.m. | Emo’s, 2015 East Riverside Drive
Highly Suspect, the three time Grammy nominated and number one radio single band is coming to Austin and you don’t want to miss it. This rock band bends genre like no other.

Sarah McLachlan | Saturday, February 8 | 8 p.m. | Bass Concert Hall, 2350 Robert Dedman Drive
Sarah McLachlan is one of the most celebrated singer songwriters in entertainment with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. She has received three Grammy Awards and 12 Juno Awards over her career and was recently inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  

The New Pornographers |Monday, February 10 | 7 p.m.| Emo’s, 2015 East Riverside Drive
A Canadian indie rock band, formed in 1997, the group i made up of singers and song-writers from multiple projects.

The Willow and Ery’s Tour | Tuesday, February 11 | 8 p.m. | Emo’s, 2015 East Riverside Drive
Jaden and Willow Smith are heading out on the road together, again. The famous siblings will be co-headlining their second tour together and will once again be playing Emo’s Austin. So if you missed them the first time, here’s your chance!

Grace Potter | Saturday, February 15 | 8 p.m. | ACL Live, 310 Willie Nelson Boulevard

Cold War Kids |Saturday, February 15 | 7 p.m. | Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, 801 Red River
Don’t miss the one of a kind sound that is Cold War Kids. The American indie rock band is currently touring their eighth studio album, New Age Norms: Vol. 1

The Used | Wednesday, February 19 | 7 p.m. | Mohawk, 912 Red River
The American rock band that sometimes is considered “emo” or “screamo” formed in 2001 and has had multiple albums go gold or platinum. They’re currently touring their eight studio album.

Thrice | Thursday, February 20 | 6 p.m. | Emo’s, 2015 East Riverside Drive
Following the new trend of anniversary tours, Thrice is on tour for the 15 year anniversary of their album Vheissu.

Pinegrove | Friday, February 21 | 7 p.m. | Emo’s, 2015 East Riverside Drive
The rock band is known for their literary lyricism and loyal following of fans, which refer to themselves as “Pinenuts.” The band named themselves from the prominent pine tree row on a nature reserve where the lead singer Evan Hall attended college.

Tori Kelly | Sunday, February 23 | 7 p.m. | ACL Live, 310 Willie Nelson Boulevard
The “American Idol” semi-finalist is a singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. A women of many hats, her current tour is titled Tori Kelly: Inspired by True Events.

Pitbull | Sunday, February 23 | 8 p.m. | H-E-B Center, 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park
The Grammy-winning independent global superstar, education advocate, business entrepreneur, and motivational speaker is bringing his hit songs and stage presence to Cedar Park this February.

Kool & The Gang | Saturday, February 29 | 8 p.m. | ACL Live, 310 Willie Nelson Boulevard
Kool & the Gang, true recording industry legends are coming to Austin. Thanks to iconic songs like Celebration, Cherish, Jungle Boogie, Summer Madness and Open Sesame, they’ve earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine top 10 pop hits, and 31 gold and platinum albums.
