The Harry Potter house in Southwest Austin is back for Christmas 2024! After taking a year off, the homeowners posted on their official Facebook page that the display will once again be happening between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
It has been announced that this will be the last year for the Harry Potter display so hurry on down to South Austin to check it out!
Here’s Everything You Need To Know About the Harry Potter House!
The front yard featured a Hogwarts Castle Christmas display honoring the Yule Ball! There were floating candles around The Great Hall, The Astronomy Tower, and The Marble Staircase Tower. And that’s not all… owner Joel Pace also created a music-timed light show!
You could see everything from your car as you drive-by but if you step outside to enjoy, please remember not walk on their property.
The light shows usually run every half hour from 5:30 to 8 p.m. during the weekdays and additional shows will run at 9 and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Where Is The Harry Potter House Located?
The home is located in Circle C’s Vintage Place, across from the park. Cross Streets are Slaughter Lane and Bungalow.
The display will be open through the end of the year.
Support Their Causes!
The family is still accepting donations for a few local charities. They do not keep any portion of your donation for materials or expenses related to the project. All money collected is usually split between Foster Angels of Central Texas, Variety Texas, and ZACH Theatre. If new charities are added, we will update when announced. Please consider donating.
