Lanier Library, along with Burnet Library, Cook Library, McBee Library, Padron Library, Walnut Creek Library, Wooldridge Library, and Wooten Library, will host Maker Mania on Saturday February 4, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. This free event will inspire families to make useful literacy tools from recycled and upcycled materials. Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers.

Maker Mania will feature fair-style booths with a guide providing instructions on making take-away reading resources.

Storytime read alouds featuring maker stories and door prizes will be presented in the last half hour of the program.
