The Gulf Meets Tex-Mex At Mongers Market + Kitchen’s New Taco Tuesdays

The Gulf of Mexico may be nearly 200 miles from Austin, but that doesn’t mean that its flavors can’t make it to our discerning Texas palates. Thanks to Mongers Market + Kitchen, those venturing out for Taco Tuesdays will now have some cajun options to add to the standard taco choices.

The $5 cajun tacos are served up all day on Tuesdays, complete with $5 draft beers that include several local breweries. Those taco choices include Gulf fish, shrimp, or oysters, topped with slaw and house-made sauce. That’s a pretty nice option for happy hour, especially on their covered patio.

In addition to the new taco feature, the neighborhood ocean-to-table eatery and fresh-seafood shop is offering some new specialty dishes to go along with the change of season. Dishes include burrata with pickled figs, crispy salmon “wings,” and pan-roasted scallops.

Yeah, that looks crazy good. Don’t miss out, y’all!
