Learning Fun 101 is on a mission. This locally owned business, a product of Austin’s vibrant homeschool community, aims to introduce kids to science and technology at an early age, and to make it irresistibly FUN.
With a supportive environment that includes some family involvement and plenty of supervision, kids thrive in Learning Fun 101 classes, workshops, parties and competitive events.
This summer, Learning Fun 101 will offer STEAM camp sessions to kids in kindergarten through 7th grade. STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Music. The camp sessions were created by content specialists, with input from local families, to ensure that they are both entertaining and educational!
The Learning Fun 101 summer camp series will kick off June 23, 2014 at Round Rock’s Community Christian Church. Additional camps will be held throughout the summer at Cedar Park’s Shenandoah Baptist Church and Round Rock’s Grace Presbyterian Church. Each camp will consist of week-long morning (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.) or afternoon (1 – 4 p.m.) sessions. Themes will include LEGO Robotics, Forensic Science, Sewing, Theatre and Art. For a complete summer camp schedule, visit the Learning Fun 101 website.
