Thursday, October 6
Get Ready With Me: ACL Edition at Bronzier – Join for tacos, drinks, and music to get ready for ACL festival. They will also have vendors with different beauty and accessory offerings.
Dessert in the Desert – Start your ACL weekend in the sweetest way at the Museum of Ice Cream with Desert Door cocktails and more.
ACL House – The ACL House will take over 3Ten to kickoff Austin’s biggest month of music. Guests will sip cocktails from Desert Door, strike a pose at the photo booth, and snag some swag to get festival ready. A live stream viewing of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats Austin City Limits taping will follow. RSVP here.
Friday, October 7
ACL Fest Live Morning Broadcast – Join Austin City Limits Radio for a live broadcast to kick off ACL Fest at the Long Center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. A $5 donation to HAAM get you in to enjoy intimate sets from Noah Cyrus, Jessia, Charlotte Cardin and Calder Allen.
Saturday, October 8
ACL Fest Pop Up in 2nd Street District – Street District will be hosting a completely free activation from 12 to 2 p.m. to help ACL Festival goers prep for the fun weekend!
Sap’s Festival Hydration Pre-Party – Before heading back into the festival, stop by Butler Pitch & Putt for some food, drinks, music, Texas football, and most importantly, Sap’s — a brand new plant-powered recovery drink that’ll kick last night’s hangover, and help prevent tomorrow’s.
Paddle Fest Saturday ($$) – Be there for the first annual Barton Creek event.
101 Bold Nights – Wild Turkey is showcasing 101 Bold Nights at music festivals and cultural events in select cities throughout the U.S. Enjoy live performances, Wild Turkey cocktails and more at the 101 Bold Nights flagship benefit concert happening at 400 Congress Avenue. The concert will feature live performances by Heartless Bastards, as well as emerging artists The Greyhounds, and Kalu & The Electric Joint. Spaceflight Records will receive a $75,000 donation from Wild Turkey which will go to support local musical artists in their endeavors to advance their careers. All bar proceeds from the event will also go to help emerging artists forge their path in the music industry as they continue to bring their meaningful and bold stories into our communities.

Paddle Fest Sunday ($$) – Be there for the second day of the first annual Barton Creek event.
Wednesday, October 12
Party for the Parks Fundraiser ($$) – Party for the Parks will take place at ACL Musical Festival on Wednesday, October 12 and celebrate 30 years of People + Parks with Austin’s own Spoon will headline the evening. Tickets for this year’s event are available for purchase at party.austinparks.org/. Every ticket purchased helps APF continue their mission of enhancing people’s lives by improving our city’s public parks, trails and green spaces.

Couldn’t get tickets for ACL but still want a festival experience? Try UTOPIAfest, happening October 14 and 15 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet. This year’s lineup boasts American folk duo Shovels and Rope, Victor Wooten, former bassist for the Grammy-winning group Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, and West Coast rapper Charli 2na of Los Angeles’ Jurassic 5 joining hard-hitting eight-piece Latin funk group Brownout. Austinite Sir Woman, who recently released her self-titled album, will also return to the UTOPiAfest stage. Other notable performers include Sudanese-American funk-rock musician Sinkane and soul band The Nth Power, which includes Beyonce’s former world-touring drummer Nikkie Glaspie.
