Miracle on 5th Street
Through December 27 | The Eleanor, 307 West 5th Street
Austin’s favorite Christmas cocktail pop-up bar is back. The 2022 cocktail menu features so many frosted favorites like the SanTaRex cocktail, Mistletoe shot, and the shot ski. Beware, this place is popular! Make sure you arrive early.
Sippin’ Santa
Through December 30 | Nickel City, 1133 East 11th Street
The East Austin bar is also once again transforming into Sippin’ Santa, a tiki spinoff of Miracle. The drink roster includes drinks like the Kris Kringle Colada (Dark Jamaican Rum, Cynar, Allspice, Lime & Pineapple Juice and Cream of Coconut) and the Christmas Eve of Destruction (Dark Overproof Rum, Herbal Liqueur, Nutmeg Syrup, Lime Juice and Angostura Bitters).
Gibson Wonderland
Through December 31 | Gibson Street Bar, 1109 S Lamar Boulevard
Known for its elaborate décor and holiday themed month long takeovers, Gibson Street Bar will transform into Gibson Wonderland for the entire month of December. The Christmas takeover includes signature winter cocktails and festive decorations that will leave you and your fellow elves feeling warm and toasty all December long.
Lala’s Little Nugget
Always | Lala’s, 2207 Justin Lane
Lala’s is decked out for Christmas all year round, so there’s no better place to get in the holiday spirit. Their signature cocktails include: Reindeer Water, Santa’s Irish Coffee, and Naughty Little Nugget. Their Jolly Hour is every Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. with $2.50 domestic bottled beer, $3 tall boys, and $3 well drinks.
Apres Ski at the W Austin
Through December 28 | W Austin’s Secret Bar, 200 Lavaca Street
The Secret Bar at W Austin is transporting you to the alps without ever leaving Austin. Kick off your ski boots and unwind with festive cocktails or try your shot at the W Austin shot ski, where you can choose your own adventure or try our special holiday shots with friends. Wear your own ski attire and get a complimentary glass of champagne.

Die Hard Pop-Up at Little Drinks Lounge
Through December 31 | 3801 South Congress Avenue, Suite 116
The South Congress bar offers a killer happy hour menu on the reg. And this month they’ve added a Nakatomi Tower inspired cocktail menu to spice things up for the holiday season. Specialty drinks include the Yipee Ki Yay, Hans Gruber, Mr. Cowboy. and more.
Donn’s Depot
All December | Donn’s Depot, 1600 West Fifth Street
It basically feels like Christmas all year round at Donn’s but they really outdo themselves for the holidays. They’ve even planned some special events this year. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details.
Mozart’s Annual Light Show
Through January 6 | Mozart’s Coffee Roasters, 3825 Lake Austin Boulevard
Starting at 6 p.m. each evening, and replaying at the top of every hour until closing, enjoy dazzling lights set to music! The lights show will happen every night, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Full details here.
Kitty Cohen’s Hanukkah Themed Get Lit Pop-Up
December 1 through 30 | Kitty Cohen’s, 2211 Webberville Road
The East Austin bar is decked out in blue and silver and features specialty drinks like Gin and Tonicah and Latke Punch. A proceed of the profits from the pop-up benefit Shalom Austin.
