Back to school time means time to check out the other programs that happen when school isn’t in session. ZACH Theatre’s Performing Arts School offers a variety of after school and weekend programs for school-aged children. They’ve also got some really fun play and story classes for toddlers and preschoolers so that they can catch the acting bug early on!
Children learn life skills through theatre education to include creativity, confidence, and collaboration. All classes, taught by professionals in the field, train young actors about the process of creating theatre while having fun! Younger classes focus on creativity, confidence, and teamwork, all in a supportive environment. As classes progress, students become focused on deeper technique in how to perform, create characters, and prepare them for their next big role.
And now is the time for kids, parents, and caregivers to check out this wide array of classes — this weekend (Saturday, August 25) ZACH’s main campus is hosting an open house, followed by their north campus’ open house on Saturday, September 1. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. visitors can check out the different sample classes, view demos, and sign up on site.
To sign up for one of the free days of fun, just fill out this form for the main campus (1510 Toomey Rd) open house on Saturday, August 25 and fill out this form for the north campus (12129 Ranch Road N 620) open house on Saturday, September 1.
