Electronic music is one genre that Austin.com didn’t talk about much in 2016, so we decided to kick off the new year by discussing this neglected genre and the track “Home Song” by Fort Never.
In the About section of their Facebook page, the group writes that they want to take you into a digitized fantasy, which is what happens when listening to “Home Song.” With breathy vocals from front woman Chantell Moody and dreamy beats from producer Timothy Ruch, Fort Never focuses on a style that is largely forgotten here in our musically saturated city.
