Cheech and Chong rolled up to The Paramount Theater, the only way they know how, in style! Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong arrived in Austin for their SXSW world premiere of Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie. The documentary follows the pair’s long careers, partnership, and friendship which started in the 1970’s.
The film premiered at the Paramount theater on Tuesday, March 12, where the cast rolled in with a giant smoking joint. The actors posed for pictures before hitting the red carpet for interviews and proving they’re still the quintessential comedy duo of the hippie generation.
To further prove that point, they made a surprise appearance at C-Boys after the premiere and got on stage for a little reunion. Although it was only a five minute performance, the memories they gave the crowd will last forever.
Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie doesn’t currently have a release date but as soon as we have one, we’ll let you know!
