Ego’s
Located behind a gas station, underneath an office building, in a parking garage, off South Congress (get all that?) is one of the city’s most iconic karaoke bars. This treasure of a dive bar is not big, so we recommend getting there early if you want a table. There are pool tables in the back, stage in the front, and cheap drinks all night long. Karaoke starts at 8 p.m. and the list fills up quick!
Austin Karaoke
If singing in front of your friends only is more your speed, check out Austin Karaoke. This lounge-type karaoke spot features a variety of private rooms, big to small. Each room features microphones, video screens, and great sound systems to sing your heart out.
HiTunes
Another karaoke center where guests can rent rooms is HiTunes off Anderson Lane. The space features eight different rooms, with three different sizes to choose from. Additionally, you can bring your own food and beverages.
Punch Bowl Social
Though there aren’t many karaoke room at the two Punch Bowl locations in Austin, there are plenty of other things to entertain you as you wait for an open room. Both the downtown location and the one at the Domain offer classic games, video games, and bowling. Plus, the Domain location has a sweet indoor 9-hole Putt Club.
The Common Interest
Voted one of Austin’s best karaoke spots, this bar and restaurant features karaoke seven days a week, 365 days a year. Singing on their main stage starts every night at 8 p.m., or you can reserve a small or large private room. If you work up an appetite singing, The Common Interest has plenty of bar snacks to choose from as well as tacos, burgers, and more.
Hole in the Wall

The Highball
