Holiday Art on the Lawn
December 3 | Neill-Cochran House Museum, 2310 San Gabriel
Holiday Art on the Lawn offers a fun way to kick-off the holiday season while keeping it local. Enjoy free access to the Museum’s lawn and shop for unique art and gifts from Austin-based artists. Children can enjoy a Sunday Funday quilting activity led by NCHM staff while mom and dad shop. Access to the lawn is free and open to the public. Reduced admission to the Museum for adults will be available on-site and children under 12 are always free. A portion of sales proceeds during Holiday Art on the Lawn will benefit the Neill-Cochran House Museum.

Hill Country Galleria and the City of Bee Cave present Bee Cave on Ice! Enjoy this year’s coolest holiday attraction from November 10 through January 15. Lost Pines Christmas Tree Lighting (Bastrop)

Feel the Christmas spirit come alive with the City of Bastrop Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Fisherman’s Park along our River of Lights. The lighting of the City’s Christmas tree and a special visit from Santa Claus begins at 6:00 pm. This event is free, and open to the public.
Light Up The Plaza
November 25 | Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Boulevard
Be there as they light up the plaza! The program will begin with live music from Gunnar Latham and then Country musician and Oklahoma native, Kaitlin Butts. Kaitlin is a renowned country artist with a honkytonk throwback sound inspired by Miranda Lambert and The Chicks and has toured with country singer Morgan Wade. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature live music, ice-skating, giveaways, face painting and refreshments for guests beginning at 5 p.m. Free admission and parking.
Zilker Tree Lighting
November 26 | Zilker Park, 2100 Barton Springs Road
Pre-event music starts at 5:15 p.m. with the ceremony at 6 p.m. Free parking is available on a first-come first-served basis on the south side of Zilker Park. Carpool to the event or take Cap Metro (trip planner). Overflow park and walk in the gravel area located just west of Stratford Drive and Lou Neff Road.
Light the Night Christmas Parade (Fredericksburg)
December 1 | Main Street, Fredericksburg
See Fredericksburg’s historic Main Street awash in the glow of this illuminated holiday night parade. Reserved bleacher seating tickets will be on sale though the Chamber website soon. Seating along the rest of the route is free. Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. and goes from Washington St. to Edison St. Attendees should bring folding chairs and blankets. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures following the parade at 8 pm in the Peppermint Platz area of the Adelsverein Halle. There will also be a children’s activity area.
42nd Annual Christmas Stroll
December 1 and 2 | Georgetown Square, Georgetown
Join on Friday, December 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 2, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the Downtown Square!
Driskill Hotel Tree
Beginning December 1 | Driskill Hotel, 604 Brazos Street
The Driskill will transform for the holiday season, keeping long-standing traditions alive while creating a festive ambiance full of Texas charm. Locals can expect the property to be decked out with festive lights and decorations. An iconic 16-foot Douglas fir Christmas tree will be decorated in the lobby after Thanksgiving. On December 1 from 5 to 7 p.m., the public is invited to take part in their annual tree lighting ceremony. Attendees can also enjoy live music and entertainment followed by holiday cocktail specials at the bar (available all December). There will also be a special appearance from St. Nick for family photos. No reservations for the tree lighting are required.
Cedar Park Tree Lighting Ceremony

Pfestival of Lights and Christmas Parade

Pflugerville is bursting with holiday pride this year! There are a multitude of events happening all month long, including the Pfestival of Lights and Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 5 p.m. The parade route runs down Railroad Avenue and loops around downtown and travels west on Main Street. Santa will be onsite in the Best Little Plaza in Texas next to City Hall for photos and visits. Bring your camera!
Santa on the Trail

Santa is making a special landing on the Butler Trail, marking the official start of the holiday season! Krampus: The Fright Before Christmas

House of Torment has transformed the beloved haunted house into a Christmas wonderland, although it won’t be all glitter and snowflakes. Horrifying Christmas characters will haunt all those who enter, trading Christmas cheers for Christmas fears. 2023 Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Christmas Parade ( Bastrop)

Don’t miss more than 130 entries- from fanciful floats to fire trucks, unicycles to vintage cars, dancing Honey Bears to dignitaries, from Santa’s helpers to the big man himself- will light up the Main Street night for this annual parade. Produced by the City of Bastrop, this joyful Bastrop tradition literally lights up the Bastrop Lost Pines Christmas festivities. The parade begins at dusk (approximately 6:00 pm) and will head south down Main Street.

Photos with Santa is back this holiday season at Hill Country Galleria! Enjoy a magical experience that allows families to visit Santa and take their own photos for FREE. There will be no professional photographer on site, but families are welcome to use their own cameras to capture this magical moment. Open select days from November 25 through December 24, Santa will be temporarily located outdoors in the Central Plaza near the big holiday tree.
