Just East of I-35 in old north/ central Austin, Cherrywood is a straight up staple. With a spacious outdoor patio, it’s the perfect spot if you’re working on your laptop or enjoying a cold drink post- hike with your four legged pal.

Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden

Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden is the perfect spot to quench your summer thirst. They have everything, seriously Their menu consists of cocktails, beers, classic coffee drinks and our personal favorite, boozy coffee drinks (pictured). It’s the perfect spot for everything and anything. Enjoy your beverage of choice on their patio. Did we mention that Cosmic was created by native Austinites, inspired by local culture and heritage. Jo’s Coffee

We love Jo’s so much! The best people (and dog) watching can be done while enjoying a variety of delicious coffee at Jo’s. Want to really kick your day up a notch? Order their Iced Turbo—a deliciously sweet caffeinated combo of chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, and cream. Yowza. With three locations, including a new drive-thru location in Hyde Park, getting your Jo’s fix is easier than ever!

Mozart’s Coffee Roasters

In the middle of the Lake Austin entertainment district sits one of the more unique coffee spots in Austin. A large, cavernous deck greets you as you walk in. Once inside, you’ll find some great coffee, teas, ice cream, and desserts. If you’ve got some late afternoon work to get done, you won’t be disappointed. Grab an iced coffee, open up your laptop, and watch the sun set on the lake, and thank whatever deity you worship that you live in the greatest city on earth.

Intelligentsia Coffee

This stunning coffee chain believes that good coffee doesn’t require change.
With locations in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and now Austin! They just opened their Austin location last year. If you’re into simple and traditional coffee, this is the spot for you.
