Aviator Nation launched their Austin store on South Congress this evening, just down the road from TOMS Austin. Fun fact: TOMS is owned by Blake Mycoskie while Aviator Nation is owned by his sister Paige. We snapped this picture of the Arlington, Texas, natives at the store’s grand opening event. The Aviator Nation shop and merch have a totally Austin vibe. From ACL inspired gear (which will also be on sale at the fest) to vibrant Texas sized murals, nods to homegrown Austin artists and musicians and a live music stage, AN fits into SoCo perfectly. Expect monthly in-store events that support local bands and artists with the goal of creating a rad hangout for Austin's community of creatives. But you don’t have to wait for a special event to visit the store. Check it out at 1325 South Congress Avenue (formerly the home of American Apparel).
