We were lucky enough to chat with him amidst all the Olympics madness and had to ask what it feels to be in Paris in person! Here’s what he told Austin.com.

“It is incredible to be in Paris right now,” D’Andrea said. “The energy is electric, and it’s been fantastic to experience home in a way I’ve never experienced it before.”

Originally hailing from France, the Foliepop’s chef gained recognition as a contestant on both Top Chef France and season 21 of Top Chef here in the US. On the Olympics themed series Breaking Baguettes, he welcomed Olympians into his kitchen here in Austin to prep different French dishes ahead of the games.
