The University of Texas at Austin is hoping you’ll be hooked on this new tradition! The lights of Texas are upon you when Longhorn Lights kicks off on November 29.
Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Longhorn Lights
What: 24 Heritage Oak trees that are illuminated with synchronized burnt orange and white lights dancing to music by the Longhorn Band. The display is free and open to the public for all to enjoy nightly.
Where: The display runs along Guadalupe Street between 21st and 24th, also known as The Drag.
When: Longhorn Lights runs from November 29 through January 1, from 5 to 10 p.m.
Free and metered street parking is available on the surrounding streets. Pay parking garages are also available in the area. The closest garages and street lots are:
