Willie Nelson wrapped up another performance at Luck Reunion, announced his annual Fourth of July Picnic, appeared on Beyonce’s new album ‘Cowboy Carter’, and is set to play Stagecoach. As if that’s not enough, he’s releasing a new studio album this year. He’s going on 91 on April 29 and the man has yet to slow down. Needless to say, we hope he never does!
Here are all the ways Willie Nelson fans can celebrate his legacy!
Luck Reunion
Luck Reunion is a music festival held on Willie’s ranch every March. We had the privilege of going this year and it was full of great performances, drinks, fashion, and surprises. Our favorite moment had to be Kermit the Frog joining Willie for his opening act singing “Rainbow Connection” together. Here’s a clip from Luck Reunion 2024:

Stagecoach Festival
Willie will be headlining day two of California’s country music festival called Stagecoach on Saturday, April 27. Day two line up is full of other Texans, such as: Miranda Lambert, Leon Bridges, Charley Crockett, Asleep at the Wheel, and a special country covert set by Post Malone. Get all the details here.
Willie’s Fourth of July Picnic
For the first time in its almost 50 years, Willie announced that his annual Fourth of July Picnic will be held outside of Texas this year. That’s bad news for Texans but good news for Willie fans from the Northeast since the picnic will be held at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. You can find all information about attending here.
Outlaw Music Festival
First taking place in 2016 in Pennsylvania, Outlaw Music Festival has grown ever since bringing in major headliners like: Neil Young, Van Morrison, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, and of course, Willie Nelson. This year, Willie will headline alongside, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, Brittney Spencer, Billy Strings, Celisse, and Southern Avenue.

Celebrate With New Music
Willie appears on Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ album tracks “SMOKE HOURS | WILLIE NELSON” and “SMOKE HOUR ||” playing DJ for the fictional “KNTRY Texas Radio.” Our favorite part is when he says, “You know my name, no need to know yours.” While he doesn’t sing on the album, you will be able to hear new music from him soon as he’s releasing a new studio album in May. This will be his 101th studio album, following 74 solo studio albums and 27 collaborative studio albums. The album, titled “The Border,” and will release on May 31, 2024.
