Wicked The Musical Will Have You Flying High In Austin

While most Broadway in Austin shows last just under a week, Wicked is playing in Austin through March 31. That means you still have plenty of time to see it and be changed for good!

Filled with the most uplifting songs and superb actors and singers, Wicked is a show you shouldn’t miss. Serving as an unofficial precursor to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends, Elphaba (later known as the Wicked Witch of the West) and Galinda (later known as Glinda the Good), whose friendship struggles through their opposing personalities and viewpoints. In addition to being a story of female friendship, it also focuses on much bigger issues like discrimination and governmental corruption. It’s done in such a fun and entertaining way, taking the story of The Wizard of Oz to a whole new level.
