About Music Forever Music Together
Lifelong educator and internationally-performing musician Michael Shay began offering Music Together® classes in his hometown of Austin in 2006. Understanding how integral the first years are to our musical development, Michael decided that Music Together, an internationally recognized, research-based curriculum for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and the adults that love them, was the best way to offer whole families a chance to enjoy their natural birthright as musical beings. Now, after ten years serving thousands of families with a unique and inspired team of teachers, Music Forever has seven locations, offering classes that are fun, deeply inclusive to all learning styles, and mindful of the role that social music-making has played for children, families, friendships, and communities throughout history.
In addition to the instant enjoyment and bonding that occurs in each class, Music Forever Music Together will help your child develop the basic musical skills needed to enjoy a life of social music-making, family music-making, and to study or teach themselves an instrument should he or she ever choose to do so.
